They also addressed the controversy surrounding Erica Mena from "Love & Hip Hop" calling castmate Spice a racially insensitive term on air. Mena has since been fired and the hosts suggested her comments held aggressive racial undertones. Yung Joc attempted to highlight the complexity of the matter, explaining that Mena is involved and exposed to black culture and therefore her comments were out of line.
