Minior has a very unique two-stage ability in Shields Down. While above 50%, Minior's defenses are high and it cannot be statused, meaning there is no fear of Burn or Paralysis. When below 50%, Minior's shield is down, making it vulnerable to status but also giving it massive increases to its offensive stats. This combined with Shell Smash makes it an excellent sweeper, and Rock-Flying typing makes for an excellent offensive STAB combination with Earthquake as coverage. Acrobatics is super easy to proc as well thanks to White Herb resetting Shell Smash drops. I built the team around Minior sweeping, so I used three leads in Glimmora, Samurott-H and Mega Beedrill, Tapu Lele to set Psychic Terrain to block priority and Sneasler/Hawlucha as an alternate sweeper.
