The very famous snacking brand Pringles was once on the verge of being scrapped by Procter & Gamble (P&G). By 1975, Pringles was there in almost every household, but after 4 years the sale declined by 60%

To get things back on track they tried many things-introduced new flavors, enhanced the taste, change the shape of the bottles, etc. but nothing worked.

Finally, they came up with a 5-year turnaround plan, and again by 1990, their sales went up to 50 million. They sold the company to Kellogs for $2.7 Billion in 2012.
