The Fantasy Girls: 1985 "Ms. Fantasy" Beauty Pageant - Video

Coming off of the success of his Fantasy Girl TV commercials & Fantasy Girl posters (and the ensuing controversy over the "sexual" content of those ads), "Fantasy" Jim went all in with the Ms. Fantasy Beauty Pageant to find the "girl next door" to star in the next series of promotional ads.

Teaming up with Real Rock Radio - KSHE 95, "Fantasy" Jim held four preliminary rounds at the hottest night clubs in the St. Louis area (packing the clubs with spectators). Aspiring models (in their skimpiest bikinis) were competing for a chance to be a local celebrity!

46,000 screaming fans attended the 1985 World Finals of Ms. Fantasy Beauty Pageant that was held in conjunction with the International Custom Auto Show (World of Wheels) at the Cervantes Convention Center.

"Fantasy" Jim used the excitement (and controversy) of the beauty pageant to help promote his Fantasy Coachworks franchise opportunity. He would go on to sell 34 franchises in 8 states and was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500 for 3 consecutive years.
