Each deck was built with the following restrictions.
Rule #1 NO INFINITE'S OR INSTANT WIN COMBOS
Rule #2 Don't be a dick
Rule #3 The total cost of cards not from the set allowed in your deck can never exceed $300 (Artifact lands, snow lands and basic lands with no other effects are immune from cost) spending less than the budget is an optional choice that you cannot hold others to.
Rule #4 Fast mana permanents that make mana more than once (Except sol ring) are banned unless printed in the set.
Rule #5 Tutors with cmc 4 or less can only be used to tutor cards directly from the set being played or from sets of the same plane. (except dominaria)
Rule #6 Cards with a salt score of (1.2) must be either clearly explainable synergy cards (i.e smothering tithe in an artifacts matter deck) or cleared with the playgroup before submitting the deck.
Rule #6.1 If any other player has a direct problem with a card with a card in a players deck, if that card has a salt score of over (1.2) that card has to be removed from the deck without any other reasoning than its on the salt list. (Be reasonable)
Rule #6.2 If you have a problem with a card in someone's deck that isn't on the salt list, that player is not required to remove that card unless you can convince a majority of the table that it is not fair or is against the spirit of the game.
Rule #6.3 If your deck is deemed stronger than the agreed upon power level (7) the first cards to be removed are high salt rating cards.
Rule #6.4 If during recording you are found to be using a card that does not conform to the agreed upon rules, you will un-sleave the card and replace it with a basic land of your color(s) and recording will resume from the moment before you played the spell.
Rule #6.5 It is up to you to make sure your cards adhere to the previously stated rules and all salt cards are revealed before deck submission, last minute changes for failing to declare salt cards are limited to basic lands.
Rule #7 Decks must be submitted for approval to a source any player can access at least 2 days before the day of the recording.
Rule #8 Deck lists are open and viewable only after submission of your own deck list and and should only be edited to implement fixes put forth by other players or adjust power scaling problems (This does not mean look at the person playing enchantments and edit in five disenchants, refer to rule #2)
The point of the lookaheads is to show off the cool new commanders and mechanics of the set. When deck building, try to find the most unique or visually enjoyable commander, winning is not the only goal. Do not pick your commander specifically to spite or counter one of the other players (Refer to rule #2), this is meant to be an enjoyable game that shows off each deck.
The first game of the day will not be a recorded game, it will purely be a for fun game to understand the dynamics of each of the decks and to make sure no one deck is overtly stronger than the rest of the table for reasons other than smart synergy reasons or good draws.
For clarifications, a rough idea of what your deck is attempting to achieve should probably be summarized to the group so no one person is being singled or targeted unjustly
Rough power scale (7)
