We recently got some announcements out of the treasury secretary and some discussions on the United States debt ceiling. That is what we were discussing in this video as well as what it would mean if the United States were to default on our debt. This is very important because it all comes down to Congress and this may impact Social Security, SSDI, SSI, VA monthly checks in a big way which is exactly what we were discussing here in this video. According to the treasury secretary, the debt limit in the United States will likely be reached on January 19, this could potentially have serious implications for fixed income benefits including Social Security retirement, Social Security disability, SSDI, SSI and VA benefits for all the millions upon millions of beneficiaries who rely on these checks each and every month. That is what we are discussing here in this video as this is a Social Security update, SSDI update, SSI update, VA benefit update, low income Benefit Update.
